How to make Futomaki Sushi Rolls With Sushi@Home
1>
The sushi@home maki sushi rolling machine uses frames and forming plates for futomaki and hosomaki.
Select the black futomaki forming plate.
2>
Unfold the plate and fit it into the holes in the base.
Place a sheet of nori on the futomaki plate. Put the frame over the nori into the slots.
Fill the frame with sushi rice just to the height of the frame.
3>
Select your fillings and arrange them along the centre of the sushi rice.
Use the guide markers on the frame to get the right positioning and amount of fillings (normally 2 or 4 for futomaki).
Then remove the frame.

Using the handles, fold the forming plate to form a box shape, then compress the closed forming plate to form a tightly rolled Futomaki roll.
5> Unwrap the sushi roller plate to reveal the perfectly formed futomaki roll.
6> Chill the maki roll for 10 minutes so the rice is cold. This gives a cleaner cut.Finally, slice the sushi roll into six or seven pieces and serve. Easy!
How to make Hosomaki Sushi Rolls with Sushi@Home
1> The sushi@home maki sushi rolling machine uses frames and forming plates for futomaki and hosomaki.
Select the grey Hosomaki forming plate.
2> Hosomaki sushi rolls are made in the same as futomaki but using the smaller forming plate and frame.
3> Hosomaki rolls need one or two fillings.
The grey hosomaki plate fits into the base in the same slots as the futomaki one.
4> Sushi@home is simple, clean and easy to use. Enjoy making maki rolls with this superb tool.
