California sushi roll maki sushi

California roll, everybody's heard of it and heres a sushi recipe to show you how to make it!

Prep time: 35 mins
Making time: 10 mins
Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 6 seafood sticks (highest quality available, don't buy the cheap ones please!)
  • 2 nori seaweed sheets
  • 1/4 avocado sliced lengthways
  • 2 tea spoons of seseme seeds
  • 1/4 long slice cucumber
  • 25g golden caviar
  • 150g sushi rice

Method

Follow the how to make inside out maki sushi rolls guide, then add 3 seafood sticks on a line, available at any supermarket, chop avocado into strips and place in a line across the unrolled sushi next to the seafood sticks. When you have done this add a line of lengthways chopped avocado. Then add a line of chopped cucumber allong side. When this is complete spead a little of the golden caviar in a line next to the cucumber. Finnaly sprinkle the toasted seseme seeds on the ingredients and roll. When the roll is rinished coat the insideout sushi roll in golden caviar to give the sushi roll a salty taste and a bright colour.
Do this twice to make both rolls.

Roll up the sushi as per our sushi rolling guide. Serve with Wasabi kikkoman soy sauce gari pickled ginger and some beutiful grean tea. Enjoy!
