Clearspring - Buckwheat Soba Noodles (250g)
Clearspring Organic Udon noodles are a thick, flat, cream-coloured Japanese wheat noodle that becomes soft when cooked, and can readily absorb the flavour of seasonings like shoyu.
For this reason udon is traditionally served in a broth or with a strongly flavoured dipping sauce like tamiari, but is also delicious stir-fried or used to make noodle salads.
Udon noodles are easy to digest, and experiments in Japan using digestive enzymes and controlled temperatures have shown that Udon noodles dissolve much faster than other types of noodles and pasta.
Clearspring Organic Udon noodles have a silky, smooth texture and come conveniently packaged with three ribbon-tied, serving-size bundles in each 250g pack.
