Clearspring Organic Hojicha green tea has a refreshing, mild and lightly toasted taste.

It is made in Nagata Chaen, Kyoto, from specialy selected green tea leaves that are first steamed and then gently roasted producing the distinctive hojicha flavour and aroma.

As the leaves are left to grow slightly longer than for sencha they have less caffeine and because they are roasted they have less astringency.

Hojicha is a pleasing light tea and the most popular everyday drink in Japan.
