It contains mandarin orange peel, liquorish root, Japanese ginseng, cinnamon and other exotic oriental herbs that combine to create a sweet tasting, spicy and aromatic blend.

Mu Tea was formulated by the Japanese diet and health philosopher, Georges Ohsawa, in the 1950s based on his studies of the energetic properties of traditional oriental herbs. The word Mu in Japanese means 'an ideal state of balance'.
