How to cook Nissin Number 1 Udon Noodles
Boil 1 litre of water for 100g noodles, drop in the udon and leave to boil for 9-12 minutes. Drain and wash the noodles in cold water.
Each pack contains 250g of loose, dried udon noodles. Udon noodles are the thickest of the white noodles and are famous for their fine, palatable and smooth taste. With the absence of egg, udon are generally whiter and softer in texture than other noodles.
Delicious served hot or cold accompanied by a weaker soy sauce, fried tofu, tempura, vegetables, sliced meats or omelette strips.
