How to cook yutaka sushi rice for sushi
- 1. Put half a pack of sushi rice and 330ml of water in a heavy pan, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 mins with the lid on. 2. Turn off the heat and leave to stand for 15-20 mins. DO NOT OPEN THE LID! 3. Make the sushi rice seasoning 4. After being left to stand for 15-20 mins, transfer the rice into a large bowl and gradually fold in sushi dressing, continue folding until the rice is only just warm (be careful not to break the sushi rice as it will be vary delicate). 5. Roll into fantastic tasting maki sushi rolls using nori sheets or mould into nigiri with the sushi magic. Enjoy your sushi!
How to make sushi seasoning
- 2 table spoons of rice vinegar 1 table spoon of mirin 2 tea spoons of castor sugar 1 tea spoon of salt
