Tsuki no Katsura Kohaku Hikari Koshu is a special sake produced by Tsuki no Katsura Sake Brewery in Kyoto, Japan. Koshu refers to aged sake, and in this case, Kohaku Hikari Koshu has been aged for 10 years.
Junmai Daiginjo sake is slowly allowed to sleep in a special porcelain jar, giving it an amber colour and rich flavour. Even after 10 years of storage, you can still enjoy the elegant fragrance of Kyoto water. The warm, deep colours and the richness of the mellowness are a reproduction of the paradise that the Japanese of the 17th century loved and prized.
Tasting Notes: Sweetness of caramel and the bitterness of smoky and bitter chocolate. - dark chocolate and cedar.
