Quality grade ramen noodles imported directly from Japan in a small value pack. Perfect for adding to our variety of ramen soup stocks. Add marinated pork, egg and spring onion for authentic tasting ramen.

Miura dried ramen noodles are made from wheat flour, salt, water, and kansui, which is an alkaline mineral water that gives the noodles their unique texture and flavour. The dough is kneaded and then extruded through a machine, which shapes the noodles into thin strands. The noodles are then dried slowly over a period of several days, which allows them to develop their characteristic chewy texture.

One of the unique features of Miura dried ramen noodles is their ageing process. After the noodles are dried, they are left to rest for a period of time, usually several months, during which they continue to develop their flavour and texture. This ageing process is similar to the way that cheese or wine is aged, and it results in a more complex flavour profile.
