Kaneryo, Tosaka Green, 500g (full name Kaneryo Tosaka Blue!)
金呂 とさか Bぅえ 500g
*Harvested in an area where crustaceans and molluscs are present*
Known as "Blue Tosaka" or "Aosa" in Japanese. Tosaka seaweed is a type of edible seaweed that is commonly used in Japanese cuisine, particularly in soups, stews, and salads.
What sets Kaneryo Tosaka Blue apart is its distinctive blue-green colour, which is due to the presence of a blue pigment called phycocyanin!
Prized for its tender texture and umami-rich flavour.
How to Use:
Take out the required amount and wash. Soak in plenty of cold water (or ice water) for about 5 minutes to remove the salt. As it is sensitive to heat, removing the salt from it using hot or warm water, can cause it to become too soft or fade.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Product of Japan.
