Ice shavers turn block or cubed ice into fine, fluffy, snow-like shavings, the texture behind Japanese kakigori and other shaved-ice desserts. A sharp blade shaves thin ribbons off the ice at a controlled angle, producing a dry, melt-in-the-mouth result rather than the wet shards a blender or crusher gives. Our range runs from compact counter-top hand-crank machines suited to cafés and smaller kitchens through to higher-output floor-standing models for high-volume service, taking either block ice, cubed ice, or both depending on the model.
