Junmai ginjo is the sweet spot of premium sake — fragrant and fruit-driven like a daiginjo, but with enough body to sit alongside food rather than beside it. Hakutsuru's Superior is the one we hand people who say they don't like sake, because most of them have only ever had it hot and rough.
Paired with two cut-glass ochoko, which show the sake's clarity and keep the pour small enough to stay cold.
