Information

hinode shin-mirin 0.9% 400ml
ひのでしんみりん 400ml

Containing 0.9% vol. This is “shin mirin” (sometimes called honteri mirin). It tastes similar to hon mirin but is cheaper to produce making it great value. Made by the same mirin masters Hinode who make our hon-mirin and the original inventors of shin mirin it is a quality ingredient essential to many Japanese sauces and a cheaper alternative to Hon Mirin.

Mirin is a sweet cooking seasoning commonly used in Japanese cuisine. It is a type of mirin, which is a sweet rice wine used in Japanese cooking to add flavour and gloss to dishes. Unlike traditional mirin, Hinode Honteri Mirin is a non-alcoholic mirin-like seasoning made from glucose syrup, water, and other ingredients such as salt and flavour enhancers.

Hinode Honteri Mirin has a slightly sweet, mellow flavour that blends well with other ingredients, such as soy sauce, vinegar, and dashi, to create a wide range of sauces, marinades, and dressings. It is commonly used in teriyaki sauce, glazes for grilled meats and seafood, and as a seasoning for soups and stews!
