Spare Part 9 is one of the individual replacement components sold for the Chiba Peeler S, ordered by its part number rather than fitted as a full new peeler. The peeler itself runs a straight, double-sided carbon steel blade that peels in either direction, held in an ergonomic handle. Keeping the original components running is usually cheaper than replacing the whole tool.
Storage
Dry thoroughly after use before storing, as the carbon steel blade will rust if left wet. Keep away from other cutlery in the drawer to protect the sharpened edge.
