Information

AMABUKI - Banana Yeast Nama (Raw Sake) Junmai Daiginjo 720ml

Amabuki Brewery, located in Saga Prefecture, Japan, is known for incorporating various types of flower and fruit yeasts to create distinct flavors and aromas in their sakes. The use of Banana yeast in this Junmai Daiginjo brings a unique character and potential banana-like notes to the sake.

A light sweetness on the palate and a fresh, lively mouthfeel typical for Namazake (unpasteurised Sake). It is a sake that can be enjoyed by those who are not accustomed to drinking sake, and sake fans.

The term "Nama" refers to "raw" sake, indicating that it is unpasteurised. Nama sakes are known for their lively and fresh flavours. However, it's important to note that unpasteurised sakes have a shorter shelf life and are typically recommended to be consumed sooner after production.

Tasting Notes: Sweet, Creamy, Rounded

Perfect Food Pairing: It goes well with an array of different cuisines like ganache or truffle style chocolates, beef steak, vinegared mackerel, Japanese & Chinese braised pork belly
