Cooking Sake

Cooking sake is one of the staple ingredients in Japanese cuisine. Drinking sake is also used however, cooking sake has been specifically brew for maximum taste when using in dishes. Some cooking sake often includes salt as part of the ingredients.

It is made from fermented rice and has a mild, slightly sweet flavor and a low alcohol content compared to drinking sake. Cooking sake is used in various Japanese dishes to enhance flavours, tenderise meat, and add depth to sauces and marinades!
