Information

AMABUKI - Begonia Flower Yeast Tokubetsu Junmai 720ml

Amabuki Begonia Flower Yeast Tokubetsu Junmai is a unique and artisanal sake produced by the Amabuki Sake Brewery, known for their innovative and experimental approach to sake-making. This particular sake stands out due to the use of Begonia flower yeast during the fermentation process.

Tokubetsu Junmai is a premium category of sake made with rice polished to at least 60% of its original size, indicating a higher level of refinement. The absence of distilled alcohol during the brewing process further highlights the pureness of the sake.

Tasting Notes: Floral, mild, sharp, and extra dry.

Perfect Food Pairing: Salads, seafood, or vegetable-based dishes, sushi, sashimi, or even creamy cheeses for contrasting flavours.
