Dark roasted sesame oil from Japan is a flavourful oil made from toasted sesame seeds. It is a common ingredient in Japanese cuisine and is used for both cooking and flavouring dishes.
The oil is made by roasting sesame seeds at a high temperature until they are dark brown in colour. The roasted seeds are then pressed to extract the oil, which has a nutty, rich flavour and a deep, dark colour.
This type of sesame oil is different from regular sesame oil, which is made from raw, unroasted sesame seeds. Dark roasted sesame oil has a stronger flavour and aroma, and is often used in small quantities to add depth and complexity to dishes.
About the Manufacturer: KUKI
Kuki's Dark Roasted Sesame Oil (Koikuchi) is cold-pressed from roasted sesame seeds to bring out the flavour and aroma. This oil has a deep, nutty taste and smooth texture, making it perfect for finishing meals or flavouring dressings.
Kuki takes care while making their products to give them a "different" - improved flavour. To start with, they never use chemicals to remove the sesame husk. They remove the husk with a process called flection. This process takes longer but greatly improves the taste.
They also do not use chemicals while producing sesame oil. As they compress the seeds, they pay close attention to the compressor power, adjusting it when needed. Once the oil has been produced, it is then filtered for one and a half months.
Kuki's sesame products take longer to produce when compared with other brands but the pureness of their sesame products speaks for themselves.
