Marutomo Katsuo Dashi Powder 1kg
マルトモ カツオ だし ぽwでr 1kg

Katsuo (bonito) classic dashi powder. As used by some of our starred customers for it's big umami hit.

A type of Japanese soup stock powder made from dried bonito fish flakes, which are rich in umami flavour. The bonito flakes are first simmered and then dried, and then ground into a fine powder to make the dashi powder.

Used as a soup base in many Japanese dishes, such as miso soup, udon noodle soup, and tempura dipping sauce. It adds a rich, savoury flavour and enhances the umami taste of the dish.

To use: Dissolve the powder in hot water and use it as a soup base or seasoning for your dishes. The dashi powder can also be used to add flavour to marinades, dressings, and sauces.
