Hasegawa Soft Cutting Board 600mm
ハセガワ ソフトまな板 600mm

The Hasegawa Soft Cutting Board is a Japanese kitchen utensil that is designed to protect your knife blades from dulling or getting damaged while cutting food. It is made of a soft material that is gentle on the blades, and its textured surface helps prevent food from slipping during cutting.

The soft material also makes it easy to bend the board, which allows you to easily transfer chopped ingredients to a bowl or pan.

Size : 600mm x 300mm   ( 23.6 x 11.8 inch )

Did you Know?

The ultimate chopping board as used by Sushi Master Jiro in Tokyo.

Wood core structure, 30-50% reduced weight, rigid, but blade friendly cutting board

Why Wooden Core?

   - It's Sturdy :  Wood core prevents warping and bending from long-term use and    high-temp washing.  It is always stable, dish-washer safe, and shows enough    rigidity when in bridging.
   - It's Light :  Wood core reduces weight by 30% compared to other solid plastic    cutting boards. That makes handling so easy that burden of washing heavy cutting    boards can be reduced. Also it can avoid serious injuries due to unexpected    dropping.

Is a Wooden Core Chopping Board Unhygienic?

The wood-core of HASEGAWA's cutting board is sterilised and covered with thick unique plastic layers fully and completely. Therefore wood won't be exposed except for unusual rough handling.

Other Features?

The soft materials that are used for both surfaces make the cutting board so blade-friendly that prolong the edge sharpness. Also grippy surfaces prevent ingredients from moving when cutting, and allow more delicate cuts!!

Use with the Hasegawa scraper to keep it in top condition
