Three of the UK’s leading chefs will put their Japanese culinary skills on display at The Restaurant Show this October.
The chefs will join the team here at SushiSushi upstairs at stand UP60 at The Restaurant Show, London Olympia (October 2-4 2017).
Cooking live at the stand on day one of the show is Liam Watton, head chef at House of the Rising Sun in Shrewsbury, followed by Jon Green, head chef at Tattu, Manchester on day two and a wagyu beef expert from Tokimeite in Mayfair on day three.
Show delegates are invited to our stand (UP60) to see how you can innovate and elevate your dishes with our Japanese produce.
We will showcase our latest products including fresh yuzu, liquid dashi and shio koji.
Our director Stuart Turner said: “This will be our third time at the show which has always proved a great success for us. This year we wanted to do something different that would catch people’s attention, so we decided to invite some of our friends to join us on the stand to cook live.
“Each chef will offer their expert advice to visitors to our stand and show them how to innovate their menus using some of our products including, miso, bonito, real wasabi, sauces and sakes.
“Exhibiting at The Restaurant Show gives us a platform to establish ourselves as ‘The Japanese food experts in the UK’. We typically work with Japanese and Asian restaurants, but regularly work with fine dining restaurants to meet their requirements to supply quality, innovative Japanese produce."
Liam Watton, who will cook up yakitori sauce marinated confit pork belly with a koji scallop, said: “I agreed to cook on the SushiSushi stand because I love working with these guys. They’re always coming up with new ideas, concepts and ingredients and I’m really excited to showcase what can be done with their produce.”
Here at SushiSushi we stock a range of products sold to restaurants, chefs, retailers and cooking enthusiasts across Europe and the rest of the world, with clients including Great British Menu judge Michael O’Hare and MasterChef runner up Andrew Kojima.
