Tokon Wakame Seaweed 70g

Made from the Wakame seaweed species, scientifically known as Undaria pinnatifida. The seaweed is harvested, cleaned, and then dried to preserve its flavour and nutritional content. Before using the seaweed, it needs to be rehydrated by soaking it in water for a few minutes until it becomes soft and pliable.

It has a subtly sweet and briny taste with a tender texture and also slightly slippery or chewy consistency when rehydrated. The flavour and texture of wakame make it a popular ingredient in various Japanese dishes, commonly added to miso soup, salads, and stir-fries to provide flavor, texture, and nutritional benefits!
