December 17, 2018

Have you heard about the new additions to our product range? We are excited to be announcing the new members to our ever growing family of products here at SushiSushi! Todays "Taste of Japan" series is about the vinegar company that created the first ever powdered vinegar "Tamanoi vinegar"

Tamanoi Vinegar is a company that has established itself over a long time, they have become renown for making rice vinegars in Japan. Izumi, Osaka was famous for making vinegar, and rice vinegar has been made there since AD 400, and it has been called TAMANOI ever since 1590.

Tamanoi vinegar then went on to win some awards at the World's Columbian Exposition in 1893, it was not recieveing world recognition.
Fun Fact, its also worth mentioning, that they are the first company in the world to have ever made sushi powder! (Powdered vinegar) . They are also a pioneer in their field, going on to create a new healthy vinegar drink known now as hachimitsu kurozu (Honey and black vinegar drink) . If that wasn't enough, they started to research vinegar and its properties only to discover that black vinegar can actually prevent cancer.
These are the two most famous products of Tamanoi vinegar, and Since 2003, Tamanoi has been making high grade vinegar with a Japanese famous sommelier Tasaki Shinya.

Especially this gold vinegar is a unlike anything you've never tasted before! it owns a
rich sweet flavour with tangy fruity taste.
